Motivation to Teach Social Action:
As an educator and community-focused professional, I am interested in understanding how social action principles can be integrated into planning, community development, housing, environmental justice, and civic engagement initiatives.
Course Description:
This course examines the principles, theories, and practices of social action as a strategy for creating positive community and societal change. Students will explore how individuals, organizations, and grassroots movements identify social issues, mobilize resources, advocate for policy reform, and implement community-based solutions.
