Motivation to Teach Social Action:

I would like to more systematically scaffold and support my students as they develop advocacy projects in my Foundations of Education class. This course is part of our social justice minor.

Course Description:

Social context of education and conflicts over philosophies, values, and goals that are reflected in educational institutions in our pluralistic society. Helps teachers become reflective, critical thinkers about the social and philosophical issues they face and the choices they make. [1]
