Motivation to Teach Social Action:
That fact that I am looking to bring fresh new ideas to the courses that I teach: Race, Ethnicity and Criminal Justice and Drugs and Crime. I would be honored to teach Social Action at the University of South Alabama.
Course Description:
The study of the role and impact of race and ethnicity in the development and evolution of the criminal justice system. Topics include criminal victimization, the treatment of criminal offenders, and the impact of race and ethnicity on those in the criminal justice system. CJ 380: An examination of different types of illegal and legal drugs, their effects on the human body including addiction, and the relationship of drug abuse and crime. [1]
