Course Description:
This course will explore the theory and practice of social action, focusing on how to organize and implement effective community engagement initiatives. Students will examine key principles of community organizing, develop strategies for addressing local and campus issues, and gain hands-on experience through collaborative projects. The curriculum will integrate critical analysis of social issues with practical skills for creating meaningful change. Through case studies, guest speakers, and fieldwork, students will learn to build coalitions, mobilize resources, and evaluate the impact of social action campaigns.
