Course Description:

The (redesigned) course will focus on understanding theories of change among diverse actors and their consequences (e.g., conflicts, contradictions), and how students can relate to this as (current and future) agents of change. Thereby, it aims to combine theoretical depth with a transdisciplinary perspective, through a focus on both theory and practice perspectives, including students working directly with societal actors in an active case study. The social action component of the course could nonetheless be strengthened, and through this training I would be better placed to bring such aspects into the existing activities as well as advocate for further strengthening within the current course redesign process.
