Motivation to Teach Social Action:
Our school has a growing macro social work student body and a large clinical social work student body. I believe a social action course would strengthen our course offerings and deepen the activism aspect of our student's social work practice, contributing to the person-in-environment and empowerment perspectives of social work as a profession.
